Chambord is a raspberry liqueur from France's Loire Valley that brings berry sweetness to drinks with flavors of red and black raspberries that steeped in Cognac with vanilla, herbs, honey, and citrus. The result is a lucious, complex drink.

Chambord Paloma

Everyone knows the margarita, but tequila is the perfect base for all sorts of delicious, refreshing cocktails. The paloma drink is an excellent spring or summer cocktail, and adding Chambord just sweetens the deal. This recipe makes one drink.

  • Ice
  • 2 ounces blanco tequila
  • 1 ounce Chambord
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • Chilled grapefruit soda
  • Thyme sprig for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the tequila, Chambord, and lime juice. Shake.
  2. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Top with the grapefruit soda.
  3. Garnish with a thyme sprig.

  3. Shake vigorously for about 45 seconds to emulsify the egg white and create the foam. Open the shaker and add ice.
  4. Shake again for another 30 seconds, then strain the mixture into the chilled cocktail glass.
  5. Garnish with a lemon peel and a sprig of mint.
